NOREN. Kappo-Gi

"NOREN." is a kappogi (Japanese cooking smock) proposed by kiten., with slits at the back and sides reminiscent of a noren curtain. It does more than simply "guard" against stains, the role expected of an apron: functional ties and slits placed throughout let you adjust the garment's "breathability," making it comfortable to wear through all kinds of everyday housework. It also has a design refined enough that you can step out in it just as it is when running a quick errand in the neighborhood.

Material & Specifications

MaterialCotton: 100% (fabric)We use a smooth cotton fabric with a gentle sheen known as "60-count broadcloth." Its fine weave takes dye beautifully, which is why we also use it for noren curtains. Refined in appearance yet light and sturdy, it stands up well to friction and washing, making it ideal for the work of everyday life.
