Flower Basket (Pierced Earrings) – Washi Blossom Drops

Pierced earrings in which a small stone sways gently beneath a washi paper flower. The shimmer of the blossom and the flicker of the stone overlap, bringing a sense of movement to the ear.

From 1cm squares of hand-made Mino washi, each beautiful petal is born one by one using the tsumami-zaiku technique. At the center sits a natural stone with a lovely translucence, encircled by a border of golden beads.

The stone swaying below is a custom-made piece crafted from rare Seino marble from Gifu, a material no longer quarried. Even at this small size, the marbling unique to the stone gives each one its own distinct glow. Enjoy a quiet touch of Japanese elegance that gently complements your outfit.

The lightness and soft texture that only washi can offer carefully trace out the shape of the flower. Because each piece is made by hand, every blossom has its own subtly different character to enjoy.

As light to wear as ever, this piece grows more radiant the more it sways. It suits kimono and yukata, of course, but also shines with special outfits for parties and celebrations. The earring fittings are made from materials that are gentle against the skin.
